Questions, answered
How do I empty it?
Pinch the silicone pads on the handle and slide them along the roller a couple of times. The fur gathers into a neat clump and drops into the chamber. Flip the lid open, tip it into the bin, close it. About fifteen seconds start to finish, and you never touch the fur.
What surfaces does it work on?
Fabric and velvet sofas, cushions, rugs, duvets, dog beds, car seats, curtains and clothes. It's at its best on textured fabric.
It's noticeably less effective on very smooth surfaces — silk, or high-thread-count cotton sheets — and we'd rather tell you that now than have you find out on your good bedding.
Will I need to buy anything else?
No. No refill sheets, no batteries, no filters, no cleaning solution. If the roller ever gets grubby, rinse it and let it dry fully. That's the entire maintenance routine.
Will it damage or pull my fabric?
No. There's no adhesive to peel at the weave and no stiff bristles to dig in. It works by static, so it lifts hair off the surface rather than gripping into it.
How long will it last?
It's built as a buy-it-once tool. The electrostatic surface doesn't wear out with normal use — no peeling, no fading grip — so unlike a sticky roller, it doesn't get worse every time you use it.
